Domestic Violence and Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is recognized as both Domestic Violence Awareness Month and Breast Cancer Awareness Month, spotlighting two critical public health issues that affect millions of people globally.

Domestic Violence Awareness Month focuses on raising awareness about the devastating impact of domestic violence, advocating for the rights and safety of survivors, and promoting resources for prevention and support. It is a time to break the silence, educate communities, and support efforts to end abuse.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month highlights the importance of breast health education, early detection, and support for those affected by breast cancer. The month is dedicated to raising awareness, encouraging screenings, and promoting research to find a cure.

These observances remind us to take action in supporting survivors, advocating for prevention, and promoting health and safety for all.
